It's always such a joy when we discover something we love and get to share it with our customers. And this is one of those moments! We first discovered The Botanical Candle Co. a while back and have since coveted their candles via their gorgeous Instagram feed. So it's with much excitement that we're now official stockists, having received our first delivery last week.

This is one of those small, independent businesses we love working with. Amalia and her partner started making soy wax candles back in 2014, concerned about the impact burning paraffin had on the air quality in their home. They went on to launch The Botanical Candle Co. in 2015 and now hand pour, pack and despatch thousands of candles every month from their lovely studio in Shaftesbury, Dorset.

We've tried and tested many a candle over the years, and have to say that the quality, natural ingredients used in their candles really does show upon burning, and of course, the beautiful branding and packaging swung it for us too.

The candles are crafted from 100% natural soy wax, cotton core wicks and fragrances that are created using either 100% essential oils or high quality perfume oils. They also put a great emphasis on sourcing beautiful vessels old and new to make their candles in, which we love.

We're stocking their amber glass range which gives a lovely soft and comforting glow as they burn, plus their practical Weck jar range. Both vessels make excellent storage for dried goods once empty and are completely re-usable as any residual wax washes out easily with warm soapy water.
